Yoga Basics Workshop with Wendy
Yoga Basics two-hour class starts you on your yoga journey. Explore and learn at a comfortable pace in a supportive environment with others who are new to yoga. This class is designed to provide you with the basics so that you can feel confident and comfortable moving into a class that is right for you. You begin with a brief discussion of the historical and philosophical background of yoga. Demonstration and practice of the fundamental yoga postures. Instruction on how to combine breath and movement. Answers to frequently asked questions and misconceptions. You don't need to be flexible, strong, or be able to quiet the mind. Simply show up and do your best.

This is a fun class for a caregiver and child ages 6 - 12. If you have a desire to spend fun quality time with your child while doing something healthy and fun then this is for you. We will travel through our bodies, mind and breath and learn some tools for healthy living while having fun!

Partner Yoga with Mary & Tara It takes 2 to tango and do partner yoga. You will be amazed at the stretches possible when you do them with a friend. Partner breathing, stretching, and relaxing. Laughter Yoga with Tara Love, peace, and joy are a part of our nature--already built into our being. Laughter yoga helps us access this natural joy and be very playful in the moment. It’s somewhat aerobic in nature, lots of moving, breathing, laughing finishing with a deep relaxation. You will be smiling for the rest of the weekend. 10 people minimum, we need a group to make it work the best, bring a friend!

Posture Clinic: Sitting Perfect with DeAnn
This workshop is designed to increase your knowledge of posture in the sitting position. You will learn about how to maintain and increase your sitting endurance by acquiring the perfect sitting position through a series of chair and mat exercises and stretches that improve muscles for sitting support.

Sciatica What? Why?. . . and Goodbye! with Mary In this practical workshop, we’ll explore the anatomy and physiology of this common painful complaint and learn techniques to manage and relieve its discomfort. We’ll discuss posture and ways to use, modify or avoid various movements to help maintain a healthy back and pelvis. You’ll leave with a better understanding of this pesky condition and a helpful practice routine to use at home.

Meditation & Positive Thinking with Tara Meditation is one of the best ways to find your inner peace and joy. It is the highest rung of the 8 limbs of Raja Yoga. In order to meditate, we need to understand the mind and how to harness the energy of the mind. In this class, we will be learning and practicing meditation and also looking at our thoughts, learning about the mind, and ways to increase our positive energy mentally and physically. We will apply this knowledge in a very practical way in our lives. And it's fun! Meditation & Ethics of Yoga with Mary The ethical principles of yoga form the very basis of our yoga practice and reveal the profound power released in us through their understanding. Rather than a strict code of dos and don’ts, we will discover that they are in fact descriptions of Who we really are.
